Water Wheel Display - Historic Roscoe Village Ohio
This is a functional overshot waterwheel.  It was constructed in my garage at home.  The
water is recycled from the 500 gallon concrete tank back up to the wooden sluice.  There
are two "pitcher" pumps on the front.  One pump you operate by hand to sample the labor,
but the other is operated by the waterwheel and pump jack.
The large lever on the left is the opener for the
sluice gate.  It opens the gate, but also trips a switch
to recycle the water.
